Terms of Use
Last Updated: January 15, 2025
These terms govern your access to and use of fotuvoraarelo's educational services and resources. By accessing our website or participating in our programs, you're agreeing to these conditions.
Acceptance of Terms
When you visit fotuvoraarelo.com or register for any of our educational programs, you're entering into an agreement with fotuvoraarelo. These terms apply to everyone—whether you're browsing our resources, attending a workshop, or enrolled in a full program starting in late 2025 or 2026.
We update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know through email or a notice on our website. Your continued use after changes go live means you accept the updated terms.
If you don't agree with any part of these terms, you shouldn't use our services. And that's completely fine—we'd rather be upfront about expectations from the start.
Educational Services
Our programs focus on seasonal budget adjustments and financial planning strategies tailored to Australian markets. We offer workshops, online courses, and consulting services designed to help individuals and small business owners understand their finances better.
We don't promise specific financial outcomes. Your results depend on your circumstances, effort, and how you apply what you learn. Financial education provides tools and knowledge, not guaranteed returns.
Programs scheduled for September 2025 onwards will follow the curriculum outlined in course descriptions. We reserve the right to modify content, schedules, or instructors when necessary, though we'll always aim to maintain the quality and scope you signed up for.
Enrollment and Participation
When you enroll, you're expected to participate actively and respectfully. This includes attending scheduled sessions, completing assignments on time, and engaging with instructors and fellow participants in a professional manner.
We can remove participants who disrupt the learning environment or violate these terms. In such cases, refunds are handled according to our refund policy, which you'll receive separately upon enrollment.
User Responsibilities
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Don't share your login details with others, and let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Provide accurate registration information and keep it updated
- Use course materials only for personal educational purposes
- Respect intellectual property rights of all content provided
- Refrain from recording, distributing, or reproducing course materials without written permission
- Participate honestly in assessments and exercises
- Communicate respectfully with instructors and other participants
Course materials are for your learning, not for resale or redistribution. We've put considerable effort into creating these resources, and sharing them undermines our ability to offer quality education at reasonable prices.
Intellectual Property Rights
Everything on our website—text, graphics, videos, course materials, worksheets—belongs to fotuvoraarelo or our content partners. This includes the seasonal budgeting frameworks, templates, and methodologies we've developed over the years.
You're granted a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use these materials for personal educational purposes. You can't modify, reproduce, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission.
If you create work based on our teachings (like implementing a budget system for your own business), that's yours. But the educational materials themselves remain our property.
Payment and Refunds
Program fees are listed in Australian dollars and must be paid in full before access is granted, unless you've arranged a payment plan with us directly. We accept major credit cards and bank transfers.
Our refund policy varies by program type. Generally, you can request a full refund within 14 days of enrollment if you haven't accessed more than 20% of the course materials. After that, refunds are prorated based on the portion of the program you've completed.
For workshops and single-session events, cancellations made more than 7 days before the event receive a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days receive a 50% refund, and we can't offer refunds for no-shows.
Privacy and Data Protection
We collect personal information when you register, participate in courses, or contact us. This includes your name, email, payment information, and details about your learning progress.
Your data helps us provide better service, personalize your learning experience, and communicate important updates. We don't sell your information to third parties, though we may share it with service providers who help us operate our platform (like payment processors or email services).
We comply with Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988. You can request access to your personal data or ask us to correct or delete it by contacting info@fotuvoraarelo.com.
Limitation of Liability
We work hard to provide accurate, useful financial education. But we're educators, not financial advisors providing personalized advice. Our programs offer general information and strategies that may not suit every individual situation.
You're responsible for your own financial decisions. We're not liable for financial losses or other damages that might result from applying strategies learned in our programs. Always consider consulting with a licensed financial advisor for personalized advice.
To the extent permitted by Australian law, our total liability for any claims related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific program in question.
We don't guarantee uninterrupted access to our online platform. Technical issues happen, and while we fix them quickly, we're not liable for losses caused by temporary outages or technical problems.
Prohibited Conduct
Certain behaviors will result in immediate removal from our programs without refund:
- Harassment or threatening behavior toward instructors or other participants
- Attempting to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Sharing course materials publicly or with non-enrolled individuals
- Using our platform to promote competing services or products
- Submitting false or misleading information during registration
- Violating intellectual property rights or other legal protections
We monitor for violations and take them seriously. Building a respectful learning community requires everyone to follow these guidelines.
Third-Party Links and Services
Our website occasionally links to external resources, tools, or services that might be helpful for your financial education. We don't control these third-party sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.
When you click through to another website, their terms and policies apply. We recommend reviewing them before providing any personal information or making purchases.
Modifications to Services
We're constantly improving our programs based on participant feedback and changes in financial education best practices. This means we might modify course content, add new features, or retire outdated materials.
Significant changes to active programs will be communicated at least 30 days in advance when possible. We won't remove access to materials you've already paid for, though we may update them to reflect current information.
In rare cases, we might need to cancel a program due to low enrollment or other factors. If this happens, you'll receive a full refund and advance notice whenever feasible.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, though we'd much prefer to work things out directly with you first.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision doesn't constitute a waiver of that right.
Termination
You can stop using our services anytime by closing your account. We can terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or if we're required to do so by law.
Upon termination, your right to access course materials ends immediately. Sections of these terms that should reasonably survive termination (like intellectual property provisions and liability limitations) will continue to apply.
